Morning drive to the Khardung La (5300m), afternoon walk to Sankar Gompa.

Drive to Chilling, camp (3230m).

Across the Zanskar, into the Markha Valley, camp at Skiu (3405m).

Trek to Markha village (3700m).
Mon 02 Oct
Trek to camp beside the Nimaling Chu (4100m).
Tue 03 Oct
Trek to Nimaling plain (4700m).
Wed 04 Oct
Walk up to view Kang Yatze, second night at Nimaling.
Thu 05 Oct
Across the Kongmaru La (5100m), descend down gorge to camp (4070m).
Fri 06 Oct
Turn west, across the Gyuncho La (4600m), camp at Shang Po (4290m).
Sat 07 Oct
Across the Shang La (4800m), camp at Gangpoche (4510m).
Sun 08 Oct
Across the Mato La (4860m) to Stok Kangri base camp (4830m).
Mon 09 Oct
Acclimatisation day, afternoon walk up to pass above camp (5000m) and along ridge.
Tue 10 Oct
Afternoon walk to high base camp (5290m).
Wed 11 Oct
The climb - start 03:00 (5290m), arrive summit 08:45 (6120m), leave summit 09:40, high base camp 12:40, base camp 14:00, Stok village 17:45 (3650m).
Thu 12 Oct
Drive to Leh.
Fri 13 Oct
Fly to Delhi, afternoon sightseeing.
Sat 14 Oct
Train to Agra, sightseeing.
