Arrive Anchorage.

Visit downtown. Group dinner.
Fri 21 Jun
Morning visit to Beluga Point and Potter Marsh Wildlife Viewing Boardwalk. Afternnon flights to Port Alsworth then to Telaquana Lake. Walk to camp 1 (3.9km).
Sat 22 Jun
Walk to camp 2 (7.7km). Short walk from camp (3.8km).
Sun 23 Jun
Walk to camp 3 (8.0km).
Mon 24 Jun
Walk above camp (1.9km). Walk to Turquoise Lake (6.3km). River crossing aborted due thunderstorm and high water level. Camp 4 on north side.
Tue 25 Jun
Relocate to camp 5 on south side of Turquoise Lake (2.3km). Afternoon walk along the valley towards the Turquoise glacier (11.4km).
Wed 26 Jun
Up "valley 1", across a pass (1300m), and into the Emerson Creek valley to camp 6 (10.72km).
Thu 27 Jun
Down the Emerson Creek valley to camp 7 on the north shore at the end of the upper lake (12.5km).
Fri 28 Jun
Due to high water levels, ferried to the south shore by a float plane come to pick up another group. Walk to camp 8 (6.4km). Visit Dick Proenneke's log cabin.
Sat 29 Jun
Flights to Port Alsworth then Merrill Field Airport.
Sun 30 Jun
Depart Anchorage.
